Here are the sad faces longing for us to come home from Florida...the guys made us a welcome home sign with their sad faces on the door. We did make it home in the wee hours of Tuesday AM. We were supposed to be home Saturday evening, but storms/tornadoes in Atlanta kept us in Florida a couple extra days and then patchwork flights with overbooked airlines...it took us about 24 hours and a zig zag pattern of flying across the US to finally get home. The Lord watched over us though...each time we were put in bulk head spots which worked well for Esther. On our last flight that was way over booked, somehow two seats opened up when we got in line and then even the ticketing agent was in shock when she was punching in the kid's names for the two seats and my name miraculously popped up on the computer screen with a seat all ready assigned. The agent said she had never seen anything like it and there must be someone watching out over us :O) I told her I knew who that was!!! The big JC...yeah!!

This would be the younger brother on his big 12 year old birthday. He is wearing his new "urban" hoodie and sporting his favorite dog poster "Hank the Cowdog". Nanna found a Hank the Cow Dog Club for him to join with T-shirt and monthly news letter. Hank is part of a book series...about 60 books with droll adventures of a ranch dog who composes whitty songs, believes he is the ranch hero, and feels misunderstood by his owners and local animals. Alpaca Rob made him a cool homemade rasberry dark chocolate whip cream cake. It would not have taken best of show (although it looks kind of cool in this pic)...but it definitely ranked quite high in the taste department!

This is Esther's new buddy from Guatemala. He is 10 months younger than Esther, but looks about the same size. He is such a charmer with a beautiful smile and big eyes. He has only been home a couple months...and Esther can't wait until he can run around with her!!
