So, sisters...these two girls are almost 5 years apart. Not quite the span we had planned when we started the adoption, but God is in control. We thought these two would be sharing a room, but that only lasted a short time as Blondie was not getting enought sleep because Esther felt it was her job to wake Blondie every time she was awake. The boys have kindly bunked in together to await us moving the two girls back together in the future.
Blondie had some adjustments to make when we arrived home, but has really done so quite gracefully with fussing here and there, but thus far, we have been able to talk it through. Lately, when we explained that copying is really a higher form of flattery, Blondie has enjoyed a new form of the big sister role. As noted in the photos below, Esther saw Blondie's red sweatshirt and wanted to put it on. This tickled Blondie so she proceeded to put one of Esther's sweater's on. And thus the sequence below begins...
Blondie in 12 month sweater and Esther in 6x sweatshirt. Large gap in size, but growing closer gap in the sisterly love department!!
