Another year gone by...

So, I write in reflection of another year drawing to a close with our little sweet pea. One month from now will be the second anniversary of Esther being part of our lives. This year has seen much growth in our little fall flower (translation of her name). She has completed her first year of preschool, has just about outgrown 18 month clothes, understands 95% of everthing you say, likes to be a little bossy and say "nooooo" very assertively:0) The list could go on and on...but let's just suffice it to say she is growing and maturing. Her health has also been great this year...thank-you Lord! And most heart warming to me, I think, is to see how secure she has become with her place in our family. She has become more affectionate, less fearful, a sound sleeper, and overall much more secure. These two pictures say it all...with her beaming pride at the things she accomplishes...she just loves to be a helper and is so proud of everything she does. And snuggling with mama...it feels ever so good to be at that place with her...since it took so long in coming!!!
