What's new and old news?

Well, in the new news department, one little princess enthusiast received a "princess" tent from her generous uncle...both girls enjoyed a "camp in" in the living room.

We had several trees taken out due to disease and risk factor. It was pretty impressive to watch these guys work and pretty impressive to watch the shredder grind stuff up. Needless to say, we now have bon fire material for the next decade and the benefit of a few less leaves in the fall:O)

Spring flowers are finally showing. We have had the coolest spring that I can ever remember...March was colder than February and April averaged 10 degrees below normal the whole month. I have not even dared to start my garden...brrr!

Big brother wraps up his middle school baseball career. He has been playing center field and maintaining a good batting average and on base percentage. He has been working hard at home with improving his swing. He umps most weekends for Little League to earn extra money for next year's travel team he wants to play on. In the next week or so, he will start Babe Ruth league and play with 14 and 15 year old's over the summer.

In the old news department is who's helping who? I'm not sure, but Esther sure enjoyed her first Easter Egg hunt once she got the idea that there were surprises in the eggs. Big Sissy definitely enjoyed showing Esther what is was all about!!
