This is evidence of how much Esther loved the snow. She would lead us on the snow with someone holding her hands and then she would giggle and laugh as her feet slid all over...what fun!
This is us entering into the old grove forest at the park. It is very lush and rainforest like. They had a huge flood a few years back from rapid snow melt that took out 1/3rd of this portion of the park.
This is a nervous big sissy as she crosses the newly built suspension bridge they built after the flood. Boy did that thing bounce and sway and only one person could go across at a time.
Here are the troops in front of a couple of the old grove trees...about 200 years old
