First there were the leaf rides brought to you by the King, aka Daddy, leading the John Deere team with the uncovered carriage.

Next, the princesses, not following princess protocol, leaped from the carriage into the non-pristine leaves:)

Finally, having soiled their garments, the princesses celebrated with leaf throwing regalia!

Back at the castle, the princesses donned their appropriate attire and met with none other than Fairy God Mother. Fairy God Mother gave the girls princessly faces and wowed them with her tales and magic before she had to go. It was a day to remember in the annals of princess birthdays:)

Earlier, at a family party, the lucky princess gets her first taste of Twister with some longer and larger masses of teenage bodies, except for Esther of course. This princess tale did not end as happily, as our princess was out done in reach and girth by her foes and allies alike. Moral of story: Maybe princesses should win all games on their birthdays? Not sure of the answer, but it's hard to be a gracious host when you are sad after losing every game:)

So, all's well that end's well...thus concludes our tales of the fall birthday brigade!!
