She's a Yankee Doodle Dandy

Well, we did it! Esther is home. It was an epic adventure capped off by one last grueling day and Esther came through in brilliant red, white and blue fashion. She was an awesome traveler at 10-month old traveling halfway around the world to her new home and holding up better than mom and dad at the end 21-hours of travel. We left the Fabulous White Swan Hotel at ~ 0530 on the 4th of July China time (2:30 pm July 3rd Pasco time), our flight left Guangzhou International at 8:25am and we touch down at Pasco with our new American Daughter 21 hours later at 11:35 am 4th of July Pasco time (02:25 am July 5th Guangzhou time). Esther was dressed for the occassion in her USA outfit and wowed the crowd of well wishers. Thank you one and all who showed up to greet us and especially thanks to those who lifted us up in prayer. There are so many ways that we felt your prayers. Science Mama can elaborate on some of them tomorrow. As I am fading fast. Esther has settled into her new digs and the kids are back from watching the fireworks so it's time for this Hydrogeologist superhero to go to bed and work on getting use to this time zone again. Thank you all for your fantastic support of us. And a special thanks for all of the decoration, food, and gifts that we came home to as that was an unexpected blessing.

Esther is beautiful!!! She looks so happy and looks right at home in the highchair. I wish we could have been at the Airport welcoming you home. We did look at the clock when you were due to arrive and said a prayer for you guys for your new journey. Hope the time change/schedule was a little easier to get straightened out. When you have time we'd love to see and hear what Esther has been up to ;)
