Today our consulate date was confirmed. Our consulate appointment (CA) will be on July 2nd. We spent a fair amount of time today working with Northwest Airlines trying to work on flight possibilities. As it turns out...the portion of Northwest that deals with adoption fairs only works Monday-Friday, so we will have to wait until Monday to shore up our travel plans. It takes 120,000 frequent flyer miles to fly round trip to China. We are still trying to coordinate getting a ticket using our neighbors miles, but Northwest only allows so many tickets that way. Either way it will all work out...it is just yet another opportunity for me to put things out of my control into the Lord's hands and trust in Him.

The map you see above is the location for the US Consulate there in Guangzhou. They don't allow any pictures of it...so I can't show you what it actually looks like. The consulate location is written in red. I'm sure the words are so small that you can't read anything anyway...oh well, I tried. We had our last garage sale fundraiser today. It went well. #2 son set up a lemonade stand and was an outstanding salesman in the heat. We set a new heat record, as it topped 100 degrees in our fair cities.
